Mary Nevins has worked as lead teacher in one of NECC’s partner classrooms in Barnstable, MA, over the last year. She was nominated because she is “an amazing lead teacher” and “a strong advocate for our students and the staff who work in her room.”

Christina Rayball has worked in The New England Center for Children’s (NECC) Partner Program since 2021 and currently serves as an interim lead teacher for a partner classroom in Groton, MA. She was nominated because she “has helped the students make incredible gains in her time in Groton.”
Each year, the NECC 5K Walk/Run for Autism brings together hundreds of staff, students, families, and community members for a day of support for autism education. On May 11, more than 65 people will honor their late colleague, Amy Posocco, by participating as the Miles for Mimi NECC 5K team.
Jackie Mombourquette, a tutor in NECC’s Partner Program, has worked at NECC for almost two years. She was nominated by a colleague because she “is always the first person in and the last one out and is always coming up with creative and fun lessons for our students.”
This fall, Sarah Brylle, MS, BCBA, LABA, a senior lead teacher in NECC’s Partner Program, was named the winner of the 2023 Maria Felix Lonergan Memorial Award in recognition of her commitment to NECC and her students.
