NEEC parent Alysia Abbot shared her perspective about the toll that the COVID-19 situation is taking on parents in an essay featured on WBUR, in which she detailed how "incredibly grateful" she is for NECC and her son's "dedicated and energetic" caregivers.

Strengthening Community Engagement with Vocational Training and Employment for Young Adults with Autism

Julie Weiss, NECC's director of vocational training, and Julie LeBlanc, vocational specialist, co-authored an article about vocational training and employment for young adults with autism. The article was published in Autism Spectrum News, and highlights vocational skill activities from ages 14-22.
