Carrie Johnson began joined NECC in 2011 and has worked in numerous capacities. Johnson, an education coordinator for ITT 4, was nominated by a colleague because she “embodies what it means to be a team player and portrays every characteristic an individual would want in a leader and co-worker.”
Marathon Monday: Meet #TeamNECC Runner Emily McKenna
On Marathon Monday, Norwell native Emily McKenna will combine her love for running and her younger brother, Michael, by running the 127th Boston Marathon as a member of The New England Center for Children’s (NECC) charity team.

Registration Open for NECC 5K Walk/Run for Autism
Registration is now open for the 17th annual NECC 5K Walk/Run for Autism presented by Erland Construction. This beloved community event will take place on Saturday, May 13 at 10 a.m. at the Margaret A. Neary School in Southborough.
Local Labor Unions Help Renovate ITT Classrooms
In March, members of LIUNA Local 609 and Painters and Allied Trades DC 35 and Local 48 donated their time and resources to renovate the two large ITT classrooms. The workers spent many hours repainting the classrooms, repairing items in the space such as doors and ceiling tiles, and installed new equipment.
From Austin to Boston: Meet #TeamNECC Runner Pete Mittelholzer
On Monday, April 17, Austin resident Pete Mittelholzer will run the Boston Marathon, his 53rd marathon in his 37th state. However, Marathon Monday might be his most special, as he will be running in support of The New England Center for Children (NECC), which serves children with autism in Southborough, MA.
