Science Enrichment returns to NECC
For nearly 20 years, the Academic and Education departments have collaborated with educational coordinators to sponsor six-week science enrichment units that culminated in a Science Fair for NECC students. This January, after a three-year hiatus, science enrichment returned to NECC, albeit in a reimagined form.
NECC Students Have a Ball with Special Olympics Basketball
Throughout the months of February and March, NECC students participated in Special Olympics Basketball. During their gym sessions, students took part in basketball skills and games, while APE/OT/PT staff served as coaches and provided instruction for these skill-building activities.

Amy Davis, DPT, began her career at The New England Center for Children (NECC) as a part-time physical therapist in 2014, before being hired full-time a few years later. She was nominated by a colleague because she “juggles half the school on her caseload for PT services."

Elizabeth Stikeman has worked in The New England Center for Children’s (NECC) Partner Program in Derry, NH, for four years. She was nominated by a colleague because she “brings a positive attitude to each day and is dependable in every aspect of the job."

Lauren Carr has worked for The New England Center for Children (NECC) for 20 years. She was nominated by a colleague because she is a “dedicated NECC employee to all her staff she oversees as well as students on her teams.”
