Samantha Young, MS, has worked in The New England Center for Children’s (NECC) Partner Program for three years. She was nominated by her colleagues because “she is one of the hardest working individuals I have ever met."

Allison Bergenholtz, PhD, BCBA, LABA, currently serves as NECC's director of Professional Development, but she began her career at NECC as a teacher 16 years ago. She was nominated by her colleagues because she not only has been “an outstanding collaborator” and an “excellent advocate for teachers”
STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Jayne Colantonio, MSEd, BCBA
Though Jayne Colantonio, MSEd, BCBA, found her way to The New England Center for Children (NECC) somewhat by accident, she has stayed for nearly a decade. Colantonio, a senior education coordinator in NECC’s Intensive Instruction Program (IIP), was nominated because “she has been an amazing boss and a great mentor.”
NECC Opens Smigel Supersmile Dental Clinic
The New England Center for Children (NECC) community was certainly all smiles on Thursday, September 21 at the grand opening celebration of the new Smigel Supersmile® Dental Clinic operated by New England Dental Group (NEDG), a new state-of-the-art dental clinic on campus.
STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Emily Cooper
Emily Cooper began her career at The New England Center for Children as a teacher in the residential program before moving to the Partner Program as a lead teacher in Burlington, MA. She was nominated by a colleague because of the example she sets for others.
NECC Named an Official Charity of the 2024 Bank of America Boston Marathon
The New England Center for Children has been named an official charity as part of the 2024 Bank of America Boston Marathon® Charity Program. Through the Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program, the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) provides invitational entries to the Boston Marathon to select non-profit organizations that focus on building healthy communities.
