STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Taranpreet Kohli

Vocational Portfolios: Supporting Student Success
A unique component of NECC's Vocational Department’s work in supporting students who are navigating the employment process is the creation of a vocational portfolio. This spring, Bobby, an IIP student, showcased his when he interviewed for and was hired as a brand associate at Old Navy.
A Lasting Legacy: Cathy Welch
On April 24, 2024, The New England Center for Children (NECC) lost a pillar of its community when longtime staff member Cathy Welch passed away at the age of 66 after a long and extremely brave battle with cancer.
NECC Students and Staff Explore World’s Fair
NECC students and staff “traveled the world” on June 18 when the Education Department hosted its second annual World's Fair.

Sophie Bolinger, a level 2 teacher and core shift manager for The New England Center for Children’s Francine Road residential team, has been working at NECC for two years. She was nominated by multiple colleagues for being an “amazing team leader who goes above and beyond for students and staff."
