STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Kim Ruscitti
Kim Ruscitti, associate director of communications at The New England Center for Children was nominated for Staff Spotlight because she “has been an integral part of the Development and Communications Team, managing multiple responsibilities relating to marketing and communications."
STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Sheila Pickett, MS, BCBA, LABA
Sheila Pickett, MS, BCBA, LABA, a vocational specialist in The New England Center for Children’s (NECC) Vocational Department, was nominated for Staff Spotlight because she is “passionate about vocational services and setting students up for success, both now and in adulthood."
STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Joshua Jackson, PhD, BCBA-D, LABA
Joshua Jackson, PhD, BCBA-D, LABA, clinical program director for NECC’s Intensive Treatment Team (ITT), has worked at NECC for 13 years. He was nominated for Staff Spotlight because “Josh models a passion for serving individuals with autism, staff mentoring, and teaching behavior analysis to others.”
STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Jaylin Enright
Jaylin Enright has worked as a tutor in one of NECC’s partner classrooms in Derry, NH, for two years. She was nominated because she “is kind, patient, and so much fun with every student. Jaylin is a joy to work with and be around!”
Team NECC: Running for a Cause in Falmouth
In a few weeks, 18 runners will represent Team NECC at the Falmouth Road Race. NECC teachers Caroline Stevenson and Emily Walden will run alongside Rhea Beaupre, the 16-year-old sister of one of their students.
A Journey of Love: NECC Staff Alumna Lise Menard Smith
Though Lise Menard Smith only worked at NECC for a year, the skills she learned during her time here have helped guide her life, which includes raising a son with autism. Now, as a fan-favorite on Netflix's Love on the Spectrum-US, Lise has a platform to advocate for autism acceptance.
