On June 5, more than 100 golfers gathered to celebrate the 25th annual Carlos Placido Dunkin' Golf Classic for Autism at the Franklin Country Club in Franklin, MA. The event raised more than $100,000 for The New England Center for Children (NECC), a research and education institution in Southborough, MA.

NECC Opens Allied Health Clinic in Dubai

In April, The New England Center for Children opened the Allied Health Clinic in Dubai. Located in Dubai Healthcare City, the Allied Health Clinic is a pediatric specialty clinic that provides one-on-one or group occupational therapy and speech and language therapy across a variety of diagnoses and severity levels.

International Staff Boost Southborough Staffing

For the last couple of years, the COVID pandemic and a national staffing shortage have burdened NECC staff and restricted the availability of extracurricular activities for students. While NECC’s staff count has been slowly increasing, this fall, the Center received an influx of help in the form of international staff.
