45 Stories of Inspiration: The Office of Enrollment and Family Support

Day to day our Enrollment and Family support team works directly with our NECC parents to help them answer any questions or concerns that they have. During the year they are instrumental in overseeing many NECC student events such as the Halloween and spring dances, holiday party, AutismFest, and the NECC Student Talent show! The team also advises the NECC Student Council including meetings and their elections. Even more importantly, this team plays an important role with new families. They manage the intake process and create a positive transition for families and students becoming a part of the NECC family. They have always worked closely with parents and since the beginning of the pandemic, they have done over 1,000 Zoom meetings with parents to help and guide them through this challenging time. Bethany McCann has been at NECC for 23 years and has been an incredible asset to many NECC families, as well as a great mentor for many NECC staff. We are so grateful for the amazing work of Bethany McCann and her team (Carissa Dube, Colleen Maloney, Kyla McHaffie, Mary Ellen Parzych and Ali Vennard).
