45 Stories of Inspiration: The Frey Family

Barb and Toby Frey, and their son Ben are one of NECC’s longest tenured families. Ben has been a student at NECC for over 20 years, accomplishing so many things during that time. Ben communicates through a speech device, and works in the Copy Center at NECC, where he provides printed copies to hundreds of staff, always courteously.

The Freys have been involved with fundraising efforts throughout the years, engaging their network of friends and family to support Ben’s 5K team or the annual gala. They are just as generous with their time. As further evidence of their commitment, each weekend, Barb or Toby drive from their home in New Jersey to Massachusetts to visit Ben and bring him home for family time.
