45 Stories of Inspiration: Dunkin’

Dunkin has made a lasting impact on NECC over the last 23 years. Started in 1997, the Carlos Placido-Dunkin’ Golf Classic for Autism is an annual event that welcomes Dunkin’s network of franchisees to help support the Center. Organized by Neal Faulkner, an NECC board member and Dunkin’ franchisee, the tournament has raised over $2 million for NECC.

At the 2017 Children of Promise Gala, Dunkin’ was honored as the Community Autism Partner for their long-time fundraising partnership with NECC. About this distinction, Faulkner said, “Dunkin’ is proud to help children with autism in our communities and beyond receive better educational services on their road to independence, and we are honored to receive this award.”
