Admission Process

  1. Applicant has an initial informational meeting or telephone contact with a faculty member.
  2. Applicant assembles application materials and forwards an official copy to Northeastern University and an unofficial copy to Ellen Graham at The New England Center for Children, 33 Turnpike Road, Southborough, MA 01772
  3. Two or more faculty members review the application and make a recommendation whether or not to proceed with an interview.
  4. Two faculty members interview the applicant* and make an admission recommendation, which is forwarded to Northeastern University. If the interviewers do not agree on a recommendation, a second interview may be scheduled. A decision letter is then sent to the applicant.
  5. The application deadline for September admission is April 30 of the year in which admission is sought. The deadline for January admission is November 15 of the prior year.
* While face-to-face interview is preferred, out-of-state applicants may be interviewed by telephone.
