Admission Guidelines
-
The ideal applicant will have the
following qualifications:
- GPA. Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher is preferred.
- GRE scores. The GRE or MAT is required of all applicants. (The MABA program prefers the GRE rather than MAT.) The MABA Program at NECC prefers a combined Verbal and Quantitative score of 1100.
- Letters of recommendation. Three letters are required -- one academic, one clinical or professional, and one either academic or clinical/professional. Personal recommendations are not acceptable.
- Personal statement. Preference is given to applicants who clearly state career goals, how the MABA program relates to these goals, and how they feel a behavior analytic approach will enhance their skills.
- Clinical experience. Preference is given to candidates who have one or more years experience working in a clinical or research setting with individuals with developmental disabilities or related disorders.
