Master Of Science In Applied Behavior Analysis
Northeastern University

Northeastern University and The New England Center for Children collaborate to offer a Master of Science Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (MABA). The MABA program is a three-year, full-time program. The program is an academically rigorous one that seeks to train a small number of students to become leaders in the field of behavior analysis. The program emphasizes the scientist/practitioner model, with a heavy emphasis on practical experience and faculty mentoring.

This program provides comprehensive in-service training on how to apply learning theory to the education and treatment of individuals with developmental disabilities. Students participate in a variety of educational experiences including seminars, intervention projects and practicum assignments under the close supervision of internationally recognized behavior analysts.

The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. has approved the MABA Program course sequence as meeting the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst examination. Applicants must meet additional requirements to qualify.
