How Can I Help

From computers and software to a brand new playground, the generosity of our supporters has made an enduring difference in the daily lives of NECC students.

Donations to NECC of any amount will help us prepare the best possible learning environment for our students on their journey forward to a more fulfilling life. This support allows the children and their dedicated teachers to carry out the one-to-one or one-to-two teaching that helps them advance by leaps and bounds. Below are just a few examples of what has been made possible by our supporters:

• Computers and software were secured for our Early Learning Program. These additions have greatly enhanced the everyday learning opportunities for our younger students.
• Our Staff-Intensive Residential Unit in Framingham, a group residence for 24 of our students with the most severe disabilities and challenging behaviors, was completely furnished.
• 14 group homes underwent extensive refurbishment.
• Our cafeteria was equipped with serving line equipment where student workers serve lunch each day.
• We've installed new recreational equipment including a brand new playground!
• Our speech and language services were expanded with computers and software complete with touch screens.
• The best way to demonstrate the results of supporters' generosity is through the individual stories of our students.
