NECC Teaching Children with Autism in Public Schools Overview

NECC has developed a number of different special education programs designed to aid in teaching children with autism in public schools. Through the programs, individual communities can benefit from NECC’s vast experience and expertise in ABA methodology.

The ultimate goal of our classroom-wide programs in special education is to help the individual communities establish strong and effective special education programs that allow students to maximize their full potential. This includes a “model classroom” program that serves to establish an ABA classroom specializing in teaching children with autism in public schools in school systems in individual communities; assessments of existing special education programs with extensive feedback; and consultations which offer schools the opportunity to develop a long-term relationship with an internationally recognized leader in ABA methodology.

Each of our special education programs provides a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to oversee the evaluative and implementation processes, and can be tailored to meet the needs of any school district.
