Autism Training and Consulting Services from NECC
The New England Center for Children offers a number of different outreach services that are designed to integrate our three decades of experience working with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods and techniques into public school systems. Since these services do not require any proximity to our Southborough (MA) campus, they can be provided virtually anywhere.
NECC's Board Certified
Behavior Analysts can train educators, administrators,
and paraprofessionals how to teach essential
academic, social, motor, self-help, leisure,
and life skills to children with autism
and related disorders. Using our extensive
knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles,
we can evaluate existing programs and provide
assessments, or we can offer ongoing consulting
services to oversee the implementation of
any recommendations. Ultimately the goal
with autism training is to help establish
best practices in ABA, based on the expertise
and experience of NECC, within any school
district. Proper autism training will strengthen
the educational services offered to children
with autism within the public schools while
benefiting communities by reducing the possibility
of escalated costs resulting from out-of-district
placements for students with autism.
