 Admissions > Admission Process

Since it was founded in 1975, NECC has remained true to its original mission of providing state-of-the-art education and individualized treatment, with care and respect for children with autism and other disabilities.

Our primary purpose is to foster the optimal growth and individual development of each student. We work towards reintegration of our students into their homes and local school systems whenever possible. In order to best serve our students we must first determine that we are indeed a “right fit” for each child referred to our programs.

NECC has developed an admission process that is designed to be informative for parents/legal guardians while providing the information necessary determine whether NECC can meet the needs of their child. The process involves the steps of Referral, Intake Screening, and Determination. An inquiry form has also been provided for your convenience.

Step 1: Referral

Step 2: Intake Screening
