Third Annual Board of Advisors Meeting

More than 60 advisors attended The New England Center for Children’s (NECC®) Third Annual Board of Advisors (BOA) gathering on May 14, 2008.  The BOA is a dedicated group of friends who support NECC’s mission and serve as its ambassadors in an effort to raise awareness for autism and NECC.

Attendees learned about how NECC currently shares its expertise with the autism community by publishing research, training well-educated teachers, and providing consulting to public schools.  Advisors also heard about progress being made in funding the Autism Curriculum Encyclopedia (ACE®) and NECC’s goal of one day disseminating the ACE via the internet so all who need it have access to the powerful curriculum tool.
